What Is Rock’N River Water Park?
Rock’N River is operated by the City of Round Rock Parks and Recreation Department. It is an outdoor family waterpark within Old Settlers Park, featuring river attractions, waterslides, play structures, shallow family areas, a deeper adventure pool and reservable seating.
The park opened in 2006 and has undergone major expansions. Its 2026 improvements increased reported daily capacity from approximately 1,600 to 2,400 visitors, adding the Raging R action river, additional private cabanas and parking improvements.

Admission is charged by age, not by height. Everyone entering the park pays admission, including adults supervising without swimming.

All-Day Admission
Valid during the operating day. Tickets can be purchased online or at the door, subject to park capacity.
Twilight Admission
Half-price admission begins at 5 PM. Twilight tickets are sold onsite only and cannot be purchased online in advance.
Does Rock’N River Offer Discount Coupons?
The city states that it does not offer additional general admission discount coupons because of its municipal pricing model. The half-price twilight admission is the published lower-price alternative.
Accepted Payment Methods
Cash, Mastercard and Visa are accepted. American Express, Discover, personal checks and coins smaller than a quarter are not accepted under the official admission policy.

Supervising Young Children
Children 12 and younger must be actively supervised by a responsible adult. Children 6 and younger require a parent or guardian within arm’s reach at all times.
Rock’N River provides a limited number of free life jackets. Families may bring appropriately approved life jackets, but should not rely on inflatable arm floaties or unapproved flotation devices.

2026 Birthday Packages
The Rock’N Birthday Party package accommodates eight guests and costs the selected rental-area fee plus $200 Monday–Thursday or $225 Friday–Sunday/holidays. Splash Birthday Party packages accommodate 16 guests and cost the rental area plus $325 Monday–Thursday or $350 on weekends/holidays. Additional birthday-package guests are listed at $30 each.
Food, Coolers, Payments & Park Rules
Outside Food & Coolers
The city’s published Rock’N River policy allows coolers and outside food. Bags and coolers may be searched. Glass, knives and alcoholic beverages are prohibited. Recheck current rules before visiting.
Food Concessions
The Watering Hole and seasonal concessions offer drinks, snacks and other food options. Availability may vary by day.
Swimwear
Proper swimwear is required. Denim and exposed zippers, buckles and metal hardware are prohibited on water attractions. Swim diapers are required for diaper-wearing children.
